The name, La Perouse, commemorates French navigator Jean-Francois de Galaup, Comte de La Perouse, whose two ships entered Botany Bay and anchored on the northern side of the Bay shortly after the arrival of the First Fleet in January 1788. A week after the expedition landed, Pere Receveur, a Franciscan monk who was travelling as a scientist aboard the Astrolabe, died from spear wounds received in Samoa two months earlier when a landing party was attacked by natives. La Perouse's ships left the area on 11 March 1788, never to be seen or heard of again. Receveur's grave, and the name of nearby Frenchmans Bay, recall the visit of this ill-fated expedition. The aboriginal name for the locality was Bunnerong.

True, but I think once you have a comfortable bed, you'll be good. The issue will be the place where you sleep, it can be noisy, or uncomfortable place. Caravan park and camping ground are the safest place to sleep.

Its a regular rice cooker, I bought it because of its low wattage, which is good for my car battery. here it is. ebay.us/WqYYfy

It kind of makes me ill in the stomach of your food storage habits. For example, the rice has been left out at room temperature for a couple of days in that container - doesn't it need to be stored in the fridge? Its not safe to leave it in a container room temperature you are pretty much eating rice that's full of bacteria = food poisoning. You did not reheat that Adobo, and the cream cheese needs to go in the fridge , again = food poisoning. But the rice cooker and fresh boiled eggs is convenient. There are rangers everywhere.. why? Because Sydney is a major and the most expensive city to live in Australia.. they don't want people to camp and stay for free,, plus to with the cost of living and huge rental crisis - reduce the amount of homeless people living on the streets and parks in Sydney

Sniffing still works on most food. I remember my parents keeping the adobo inside the bottle and we eat it for a week. We never had a fridge. Yes the cream cheese in the fridge.

@@Abroadero No, sorry this practice especially with chicken is a no-no.. (learn about salmonela, E.Coli, Listeria) Always refrigerate after cooking And reheat If you serve it the way you do, you could make someone very ill or die with food poisoning with a non-Filipino stomach like yours.. just sayin, and I'm not even a cook LOL

@@Abroadero Yep, leaving and eating cooked food out on the bench for hours/days is not good practice.. I don't know anyone else that does this lol.. usually it goes straight in the bin
