⭐ About Travel Beans:
Welcome to the official Travel Beans KZbin channel! On this channel, you’ll find a variety of travel and vlog content, in which you’ll see us in places like Thailand, Japan, USA, Slovenia, and more.
In 2017 we left home with just £500 in our bank account and a dream to make a sustainable travel lifestyle happen! We are now living our dream as digital nomads and want to inspire you to create your own story, whatever it may be!
After 5 years of aimless, yet enjoyable, backpacking around the world we found ourselves in New York City battling with depression. At this point, we decided to go home and confront this problem head-on. After 6 tough months at home we decided to go away again, but this time with a goal in mind.. to turn travel into a lifestyle.
Our time spent battling depression has influenced our outlook on life dramatically! We are now traveling the world in search of what makes us happy. In our vlogs, we talk openly and honestly about our travel experiences, the digital nomad life and depression. We hope our videos can help to inspire you to create a life that makes you happy!

I hope as the situation changes stories like this become less and less common :/ sorry this happened! For what it's worth, nearly all of the restrictions have been lifted in Switzerland (no proof of vaccination needed to eat in restaurants, stay in hotels, etc..) and we would be happy to have you :)

Hey beans - loved seeing annecy in the winter - we camp there every summer - you were right - it is riddled with humans but there’s enough space to still enjoy it and the water is lovely and warm to swim in. Sadly those camp sites you mentioned are always fully booked throughout the summer holiday period but there are camper-van pull ups in just about every village and town around the lake so you are never caught without. A place to stay - but not really wild camping I’m afraid

Well done! You just have to choose countries that don’t discriminate and treat people fairly. We’re taking off in our van around Spain in mid April and are very pleased restrictions are being lifted around all the regions here and when we travel further into Europe we’ll choose countries accordingly and if we have to travel through countries that require jab passes for restaurants we just won’t go to their restaurants. Create your own reality around the madness 💛💪🏼✨ We’ve already been called selfish in the comments here for not being jabbed but we it’s ok. People don’t know better. 🙏✨

We love you too !! I spent all Winter not allowed anything (I have an allergy/inflammatory risk to the excipient of that vaccine so won't have it/GP approved) it was tough, but then the pass (which was just a joke under Omicron) is lifted/cancelled next week, sorry you guys were one week too early in Annecy to be able to enjoy all the places you would have liked. have a safe jourrney home !

As mentioned...Emma is the one stealing the show here being articulate, informative and down to earth. She would be highly suited to a job in hospitality/public relations. Making these videos will likely be unsustainable (for long) and she needs a brand to back up her obvious talents. Having the back up of say an international set up with a longer term commitment, will see her flourish. Her key and valuable skills (ie: making people happy) in the middle and long term will then shine through.

Hey Bean-buddies :-) That was a marvelous stretch of your trip. Cool views and nice places to go... I am no fan of the French either but Annecy seemed pretty nice.. It sucks to have no COVID pass valid.. But in Belgium you don't need a COVID pass anymore !! Not in supermarkets and not in restaurants and bars!! So.. if you like to eat inside.. We have sunny weather forecasts and temps during the day of about 14 - 15 during the day.. Just saying.. ;-)

We have based ourselves in annecy for a few trips on the motorbikes. That area of the Alps is absolutely stunning. We had lunch at a nice riverfront restaurant called Les Jardins de l’Auberge where we dined on the local speciality, Tartiflette, a baked dish of potatoes, lardons, Reblochon cheese, onions and crème fraiche, served with salad. Annecy is an awesome destination and we have visted there a few times now. One trick we have learnt in France to beat the crowds in the busier months is to get out nice and early in the morning. People seem to get going from about 10am onwards so you can get some time in before that without the masses, plus there is nice light for filming and photography. As always we enjoy your videos.

Unvaccinated, had to do a pcr test b4 travelling but other than the issues at the tunnel and airport with the plc form, which was probably my fault anyway, we had no issues. It's just done summer here, it's officially autumn. If you'd been travelling here, you'd be baked beans. Australia has five recorded temperatures over 50, three this year in Western Australia. Perth had six consecutive days over 40. Perth hardly knows what rain in summer is, but up north one cattle station had 700+ in 24 hours. Obviously caused no grief, the owner said he'd like some more. In the Eastern States, 600+ can be problematic. There are all house mountains and hills for it to run down and wash away houses.
