Hi you two lovely people. I just came off a car camp in Hertfordshire for Easter, didn't want to be alone, miss my mom who passed, it was a restful break. Off again to another place tomorrow. I just do this in my car, part-time around work, just working with what I have. Love the out doors and exploring different places. Better than being couped up. You two really put a smile on my face. Thank you for a great video and the shout out. I hope your repairs are going well. Halifax is amazing and we must pay a visit sometime soon. That’s a great recommendation for a park up. I saw Piece Hall on Antique Roadshow, and the series Gentleman Jack was also set in that area, it’s so interesting. I love information our industrial heritage. Have you been to Saltaire? We went on our narrowboat before we sold it and it was great.

I so miss Halifax, my family go for meals at the Shears Inn a lot, as do we when we go to visit them. Above the Borough Market there is a street all the houses are still there, don't think any are lived in anymore and the Piece Hall was an outdoor market place before it was modernised ❤. Love you blogs ❤

Me and my mate Geoff usually go out for a bus or train ride every Wednesday, a few years ago we caught the train from Manchester to Halifax, we went into Piece Hall and had a good Mooch, it's well worth a look, we enjoyed our day out and went for a pub lunch! In Weatherspoons! that bike is a Yamaha Fise 50cc, no wonder it's chained up they sell for daft money. If you get round to the Peak District again have a look at Hayfield, it's where Captain Mainwearing was born, and where the mass Protest was in the 1930s, all about rambling and walking, some great eateries as well plus some fantastic views! al sithee!!

Piece hall what a great place, went there afew years ago, had a great museum there, started with wool then first world war, then industrial. Had a brass band concert on the Sunday we were there.

What a great place Halifax is to visit and so much to see aswell really glad that none of you were seriously hurt when you had your accident with your van last week and that includes wee woody when you both went for your dinner at the sheer Inn/pub and Mark had the braised beef it gave me a n idea for something to make for myself sometime soon have not had braised beef in ages have not been eating full meals in ages as have not been feeling to well so when I do decide to make this it maybe bring back my appetite for me love braised beef wit onions carrots mashed potatoes and either cabbage or mashed turnip ❤️❤️❤️

12 miles - yeah right. Don't do a stopover with the Slaws as they do a decent walk when they are out. Mark and Simon could moan in harmony. Glad you moved away from plastic, a company I worked for made paper for Sweetheart drinking straws, at least now paper straws are available again. Great video, and Halifax is not that far for either of us. Driven through several times but never stopped.

The bike is an Icon of the 1970,s its a Yamaha FS1E but without its pedals which means its probably a restricted one. A good 50cc Fizzer as they were called would do 60mph downhill with the sail up , as we used to say , they were about £300 in 1971 with pedals unrestricted but the law caught up in 1978 and restricted them to 30mph killing the desire for 16 year olds but you could unrestrict one to get 45mph still much loved you will pay up to £7000 for a good pre 1978 one. ace little bike
