We pay property tax in the U.S. it's based on the value of your house. Then we have a Capital Gains tax when you sell the house. Tax tax tax tax. A lot of elderly here are forced to sell after they retire because they can't afford the property taxes.

In the UK there's something called council tax for services ie bins etc I say etc cos I can't think of anything else they do, we also have a capital gains tax that take back anyone's inheritance. Sad really isn't it. You spend your whole life paying for a house to have it taken away when you die and leave any children not having the house they grew up in or a big bill to pay off.

@@Roadshome I think you are right about there being an agenda to keep like minded people isolated, and now that AI exists its very easy to achieve (at least online). I don’t pretend to know the extent to which is goes on but if you look into Dead Internet Theory and the current capabilities of technology its not a far fetched idea. It becomes even scarier when you consider the idea that technology could be used to profile people based on there online activity - whether thats by monitoring the type of content a person watches or even by baiting them into responding to inflammatory comments to automatically build a profile on everybody and then tailoring the content each person gets based on their profile. I think that in the real, physical world people have always been divided. Whether it be by politics, sports teams, religions or whatever, and I think that is propagated by the media. I think *they* are ramping up to something big. Maybe its the WEF reset. Idk, but when I look at the immigration issues that are happening everywhere I can’t help but think it is a deliberate act to further divide people by diluting culture and any remnants of community. With regards to what you were saying about the world going mad (people with unconventional pronouns etc) I believe that it is all being done to psychologically destabilise the people. Mass gas lighting of the entire population. We have all been slowly conditioned to feel powerless and compliant. Its what David Icke called the totalitarian tip-toe - slowly taking away our freedoms at such a slow pace that we don’t notice until we have none left (the frog in boiling water analogy). The system is set up in a way that means everyone is so focused on their own individual problems that they don’t have time to consider the real problems (which are actually the cause of their individual problems) and the worst thing about it is society polices itself. Thats my opinion. Sorry it was long winded. I could go on & on.

@@Roadshome really? Read the independent 30th July. For one it was announced more than three weeks ago, secondly when did they state they would not remove it for non qualifying pensioners? Thirdly it's not being removed, it will become means tested (i'm sure the pensioners in the house of lords don't rely on the benefit to pay their bills) fourth Labour are in talks with energy suppliers to reduce the impact of bills on the vulnerable, something the last government did not do, presuming to give the public a loan to help the energy companies make more money that would have to be repaid and was only done as a way of faking a reduction in inflation. And finally it will go to a vote as all changes should, so the commons will get to decide so technically Labour haven't done it yet, just proposed it. Demonstrate they said they wouldn't but changed policy.
