I didn't get him until I was in my 50's or 60's. I heard him early on but didn't like his voice or "little brown eyed girl". Once he got jazzy and or instrumental then I loved him. Not sure when that was but I picked him up again later in life.

Listening to vans music since 73,and the one thing that strikes me is even years after he has written and recorded a track he will still work and hone it till perfection is reached.This tune captures the Celtic "Soul" so well.
