Amorim might not even be better than Ten Hag, so it’s better to let Van Nistelrooy finish this season. I’m definitely in favor of Ten Hag stepping down, but I doubt that Amorim’s three-at-the-back formation would work either. It might be effective in other leagues, but it probably won’t cut it in the Premier League. Plus, what’s the point of dominating in smaller leagues? Ten Hag was dominant in the Eredivisie too, but got overwhelmed in the Premier League. In short, I don’t see the appeal and don’t support it. It’d be better to let Van Nistelrooy lead for the rest of this season and then decide if he deserves the role full-time based on the results.
