Van Romaine with Nena 99 Luftballons

Fortunate to have been hired in 98 with an all American band to play drums with Nena. Even more fortunate to become her Musical Director and musical collaborator in 99 and watched Nena come back hard in 2002 - present with many more #1 hits. The band in this video is 1/2 German 1/2 American and I couldn’t be any more proud to be a part of this second musical journey that is still very much alive and well. Nena is one of the most magical performers I have seen or worked with in my life time. ❤️ van.romaine
