So could we say in particular then that in Cornelius Van Til's theology, there is a unipersonal identity of the one divine essence? Likewise could the same be said of the theology of others like A. A. Hodge and Herman Bavinck? And then if so, here's the next burning question: in Van Til's (and relevant others') theology, is this unipersonal identity of the divine essence communicated to the humanity of Christ?

Mashing unitarianism and modalism for two reasons: 1. Their bromance with van Til, and 2. Their unconscious following in the footsteps of past Reformed movements into leftist Unitarianism. It happened in Geneva. It happened in New England. They're trying to make it happen today all over via the internet. Also, notice he never quoted the Bible. For instance, where in the Bible is the name for God in His Absoluteness of Oneness Personalityness? The Bible teaches us about God through His names. Where is the name for A. A. Hodge and van Til's 'further degree up' from the level of the Trinity God? This is Unitarianism and default Modalism by any other name. They're just coming at it via a mischievous theologian named Cornelius van Til.

Without seeking to defend all the intricacies of "classically orthodox Trinitarianism" (which go beyond what I would personally feel comfortable confessing as of now), but providing what would seem to me to be some scriptures defending the notion that in the area of God's oneness includes a unipersonal identity: Exodus 20:1-3, Isaiah 43:10-11, 44:24, 46:5, 46:9. Nevertheless, I do also affirm the mutually distinct personal identities of the three members of the Trinity.
