It's definitely up there 😉. Our next van is going to be a mwb MAN 4x4 as we can't get hold of a lwb for a good while. When we do get a lwb then this layout will be going in it. I think the swallow tail bed has great functionality....but the steps just look great as well ...it's a win win😁

That looks very nice and well built. Is there any way of arranging the toilet/shower so it doesn't have a curtain? I hate shower curtains. Also, are you going to be at the Peterborough show?

Most of the time they are about 14 ' long and wide enough for queen bed.

From a practical point that would be an idea - In reality , the fridge is shallower than the oven and is located in front of the C - pillar. This location keeps the floor space at a maximum.

It does depend on how far you go with electrics and additions. Our conversions start at about £37000, but most customers with awnings, lithium batteries, solar panels etc are more like £40000+. Our website does have a basic price structure.

Hi Anthony, the price would depend on the base vehicle specification and the conversion extras. On a brand new van it could be anything from £60-75000.

@@bigbadbalesy It does have a hot water and heater system via a Truma combi 4e. We dont really do this to older vans as its probably not cost effective.

To be honest, as the customers of this vehicle wanted to personalize the graphics, then I dont have any photos as it left us as a plain white camper with no graphics. But it is a standard ducato L4 which is the same as our own van in the other videos. So if you look at the white Boxer in the step video, llyn Brianne video or lockdown, then that woukd be a good representation of the external appearance of a finished van. The windows etc would all be in the same positions.

I don,t understand the reason of the steps. To separate the bed?

The reason for the steps is to provide easy access to the bed. Usually its a 2 step ladder which isn't always the easiest on the way down. Also as this bed is set up to be primarily used as 2 single beds then the steps allow access to either side without disturbing you camping partner. We have had campers with ladder type steps for a while, and I really like this idea. You can still sleep across as its 6ft 3 in x 4ft 6in excluding the step area.

It is a thetford triplex. It has a combined oven / grill, and 3 burners on the hob.
