You're living the dream mate and so is your beautiful dog. You suggested you were a failure in a previous video (or words to that effect because you can't hold down a relationship) but that's not the case. You're the polar opposite. Look at the fabulous life you're giving that little dog. You can't put a price on that. Humans have forgotten what the valuable things in life really are. You're a glowing success pal.

A friend and I were up the top of the Langdales a few years back. It was a midweek day and very quiet and peaceful, when all of a sudden we heard a deep throbbing rumble. We had no idea what it was, when slowly a plane came up the valley below us. Turns out it was a Spitfire, and we were actually higher than the plane. Amazing and surreal moment, never to be forgotten.

(respectfully) as a fairly casual cyclist, middle of the road because it minimises the risk of dodgy overtakes, means you can only overtake when it's actually safe to do so, you also avoid sudden drains and stuff like that and have space to move out of the way for potholes. (hope this helps) also cycling through the countryside is an experience like no other, although i tend to avoid riding in roads like this in favour of quieter back roads and do also tend to pull over if traffic is queueing up behind me

I made it to the end. Just love your videos. I’m still astounded to think that after moving in March, all of this is now 15 minutes from my door! In fact, I think we’ll come home from Keswick via Newlands and Buttermere this afternoon. I can’t express how it makes me feel to be able to say that. We’re so, so fortunate! Thanks for the videos. Love watching on a Saturday morning, prior to getting out there in a Sunday.

I always get to the end of your videos by breaking them up; I'll watch 10,12 or 15 minutes at a time and then keep revisiting after a few days or weeks. So nice to have the Lake District as your backyard and playground. You have given us a taste of Scotland, perhaps you could work your magic on some great places in Wales such as Tryfan which I would love to climb but am challenged to find the opportunity. Stay out there and keep the camera rolling.

Watching Fenn swim to cool off was so cute! Thank you so much Glenn! And please consider longer trips- we so enjoy them! I have always wanted to visit England, and between you and “Goin Solo” (another English camper/ walker) I can finally see it!😁 Please tell Finn her American buddies love her- and her daddy, of course! More power to us "Tail-end Charlies"! A lovely change of pace Glenn. Buttermere is, indeed, beautiful. The majesty of Honister Pass impressed me as I went up it....The Buttermere circuit was a delight to walk on a warm, sunny 2nd of May...but what blew me away was the drive through the Newlands Valley to Keswick. That drive made me fall in love with the Lake District!! I'm up in the Lakes again in a couple of weeks, around the Ambleside area this time....and I can't wait!!

LOVE YOU FINN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I made it all the way to the end... how could you pass on all that beauty! Re: van.. since you are going to make the $$ investment to add a stealth window.. you may wish to think about letting it slide open for air. I would look at storage capacity or putting solar on the roof? Sounds like it is quite an exciting time for you with so many possibilities! Glad I am along for the ride. Thanks for sharing! @davewood98886 ай бұрын
Yeah the Army Air Corps have operated the Apache since 2001, around 60 or 70 in service I believe. The one shown flying here would have been Dutch, they are on exercise in the UK at the moment operating out of Carlisle airport.

As a regular visitor to the area the roads are so familiar during the start of your vlog, and at first I was kinda surprised you didn’t go to Buttermere via Honister but in fairness that route to Moss Force for your initial walk and overnight is beautiful and worth the pain of the opposing traffic on the way up and ultimately going back via Honister made for a great circular route. That Apache you saw in the area was very likely Royal Netherlands Air Force, they are on exercise TAC BLAZE as it’s being called operating out of Carlisle airport.

I've never been to England, but the quaint villages are beautiful and I would love to visit.
