I've got a couple Vanasche parts on my Norden, in particular the bar risers and foot pegs after seeing your video. I absolutely love them and will probably pick up the shift lever and other parts later. I ended up going with a 3D printed Zumo XT mount that has a locking lug on it from a guy in Colorado, it sits the Zumo flush with the dash screen and I'm happy with it. We'll see if the 3D printed one lasts, though!

Thanks for the lead on the GPS mount. Just got one from Vanasche, it looks perfect. But, upon removing the GPS placeholder on my Norden, I did not find the pre-wired accessory cables to install my Garmin Zumo. I took off the windshield and looked closely into the mount area, no cables. Cable should be there, right?

Have you had trouble with the Garmin Zumo Charging Mount breaking? Mine seem to lose the pins all the time.

How is the reach from a seated position to the screen? I was on a T7 with a similar setup and while visible the screen was difficult to reach and enter search info.

Dork, I have a question about Klim Marrakesh pants. I think I remember you saying that they have belt loops, which is a big plus, but do they have any amount of elasticity to them? I am trying to determine size, but I’m short and they don’t even offer a 30” inseam, which is what I usually wear, so will the 32” inseam be ok? I’m concerned about the knee armor placement. Anyone’s input would be appreciated!

Yes they're stretchy and have lots of knee armor adjustments. I also have a 30" inseam and they work fine with the armor in the highest position.

I bought the factory Husqvarna mount. Did no expect to be so disappointed. What a piece of crap! Spindly plastic frame that twists and bounces.
