I have put these rounds on every bike I’ve owned since 1984. I love them ! Quiet and smooth at idle, but you can still set off car alarms in the parking lot if you get on it. Best of both worlds. Never had a cop hassle me for them. Buying a 2020 FLHTK and this will be the first thing added after break-in...

This video is probably the best of these slip-ons, but still doesn't do them justice. You have to hear them in person. Easily the best sounding slip-ons on a Harley. Oh and if you get them get the fuelpack fp3.... It's well worth it. Keep up the great vids. Probably the most informative and detailed on youtube.

@Autumnleaf2011.....I feel bad telling you this, but I can definitely feel the power difference in the 103 high output. They put the high flow intake and the 255 cams in it. It smokes right along and is smooth. Tons of low end passing power. They really stepped it up. I have club members that have the 103 and I smoke them. One of the club members has a 2012 CVO (110) and I'm right with him no problem. Thanks for the comment.

I have Vance and hinds slip ons on my 2013 wide glide they stated to rattle a bit so yesterday I took the baffles out of my stock pipes and installed them . Wish I would of know about doing that before I bought the V andH .no rattle and a deeper sound . I haven't road it yet to to double knee replacement surgery but so far in idle it sounds great .your slip on sound fantastic though ! I'll see where the rattle is coming from and decide to sell them or reinstall.riding with no baffles worries me I don't want a engine problem in the future . I'm going to watch oil and gear changing video it's about that time to change .thanks for the vids 👍

+Steven Immendorf Vance and Hines has a been great for us to deal with when it comes to defects. I'd suggest contacting them after you figure out the rattle. You loose back pressure when you take out your baffles. You will loose some low end torque, but it should effect you engine. Ride safe & Ride Often! Did you have a chance to test these pipes while running the infotainment system and if you did, was there an issue hearing the audio? I'm looking for a deep throaty pipe that sounds good but not so loud to where I cant hear the audio from the infotainment system.

Great video and thanks for posting. I had V&H on my last bike, a 2011 V-Star 950 and the slip ons made go from sounding like a kitten to roaring like a lion. I'm seriously considering V&H on my 2014 street glide that still has OE exhaust but even listening to your video with ear buds on, my only real concern os if I'm going to be "that guy" the neighborhood hates qhen I leave for work at 05:15. My V-star wasn't too bad as long as I babied the trottle heading in or out of my hood. 😁

You can go the the OS 450 slip ons. They are advertised as radio friendly. They have a great low rumble, but are not obnoxious. HDF150 Just putting out a ton of free stuff to help bikers. We try to be as detailed as we can brother. Honestly, the pipes won't sound much different at all on just a basic stage one air intake. I ran the pipes with cats and without cats. Not much different sound at all. Bike just ran better and cooler without cats. That's the only thing on that bike in this video: state one air intake, cats removed in headers. Hope this helps. Ride safe & Ride Often! Question. I added the same slip ons to my 2016 street glide and really don't notice a big audible difference from riding position. My sportster with the twin slash was a huge difference. Actually louder than my street glide with no other mods. Is it just a matter of me being in the riding position or am I just going deaf? Lol. Love the look of them just not sure they're loud enough.

These have a solid one piece baffle. It can be removed by taking of the heat shield, removing the set screw that holds the baffle in, and pulling out the baffle. You will loose a lot of back pressure and will have some popping. Ride safe & Ride Often! Nice vid and some great sound. I went with the 2014 Road King and the same engine, do these bikes come with the cat no matter where they're sold, and would the sound be pretty different with these VH pipes having the cat in there? I dont want my bike to sound like a sewing machine.

Enjoy that Road King!! Yes, all new Harley's come with the cats. The Feds and EPA require them too manufacture them that way....uuuuugh. If you minus the cat it does sound a bit better, but the performance you will gain and less heat up near your legs is the better reason to do it.

Ben Stephens Any time you make a change to your intake or exhaust you really should remap the bike. I would recommend the FP3. Having a HD dealer flash your bike will cost around $200. +Ryan Urlacher . I have the Naked kit for my intake and these same mufflers for the exhaust. Mufflers only, I would think no need to put a fuelpak on, but it wouldn't hurt performance wise. For the Naked kit and hi-flow mufflers like this, you will need the fuelpak or whatever system you decide to use. I have a fuelpak on my 2010 FLHTCU. The performance is nice and there are no worries about a lean mixture. Hope this helps.

That's very normal........The pipes go two into a chamber than back out to two. Exhaust gets pushed out one side more than the other and their is a cross over under the bike. Ride on!!

I was under the impression you don't have to remap or change the air filter if just adding the slip ons since you still have the cats. Is that true?

+vulcanman64 You are actually remapping the electronic fuel injection EFI. Technically if just putting slip on mufflers you don't have to. If air intake then yes. Depends on what kind of slip ons too. Bottom line is remap your EFI when making any change for optimum performance. while on vacation in Orlando I traded my Vaquero for 2016 Street Glide, first time Harley owner. man I love this ride. My question to you is; are you still running VH twin slash rounds? Are you still using Fuelpak Fp3? Are you still using stock intake? Did dealer remove cats or private party? Based on your input on the above I believe this is the route to go. love your vids, please keep up good work.

I have the stock intake for now, but I'm looking into the Vance and Hines VO2 Naked intake because I can use the stock cover. I do have my cats out. I local welder did it for me.
