It's hard to watch this video without feeling sorry for this adult Vancouver Island marmot, being plagued by a cloud of very persistent mosquitoes. Amazingly enough, the marmot doesn't seem to mind much - apart from a shake or two, its main focus is on keeping its balance to watch something interesting further upslope. If you have ever walked across a steep mountain slope and tried to look up at the top without falling over backwards, you'll know that this is much more challenging than it sounds!
