Looks like everyone is breathing the Fraser river! How come the train stops so far away from the platform stop boards? Is that a safety feature with wet rails in case there is wheelslip? It's ingenious how they use existing transport corridors such as roads and disused heavy rail routes, that must have saved a lot of money not needing to buy up land or demolish buildings. Can you do a documentary on the construction of that line?

The train stops far from the end of the station because it is only a 2 car train. The entire platform can hold a 5 car train. The platform has been built longer for future planning when ridership increases. As of now, 2 car trains are good enough to handle the ridership.

I recorded this Sunday night, Jan. 14. I just uploaded it this morning. I originally thought this was going to be too dark so I recorded the ride again the next morning. Both versions turned out OK actually so I posted them both for you.
