A fun hunt. Being in Saskatchewan I hunt vicariously through vids like this. :) Couple more months and the ground should thaw. Have you ever hunted Wreck Beach? The hike down might keep a lot of detectorists out.

Thanks! I'll keep 'em coming! I've gone down to Wreck Beach once a couple years ago in the off-season to avoid awkwardness, but that was before I started recording my hunts. I found a decent handful of clad. I should give it another go before it warms up.

I don't drive so i dont pay for parking but i take the bus sometimes but i usually dont make my money back, theres three fare zones, $2, $4, $6 and ive been to all three and never made my money back at either one with return fare, the $6 fare zone is another city and i hit like 6 different park totlots in that city and i didnt find the $12 i needed to pay for the trip, or even any nice looking jewlery IIRC, just a kids ring metal band with a plastic pink flower

I'm always on the lookout for free parking, there's small hidden spots around the city I've found; this is the first time I ever paid for parking while out metal detecting haha! No free parking near Stanley Park unfortunately.

Do you live close to stanley park, i stayed at a family members apartment right beside stanley Park when i was 14
