Mudlarking Vancouver BC - Stanley Park Amazing finds on the beach

On a low tide I decide to go down to explore and metal detect the beach in front of Stanley Parks sea wall. Looking around it is clear that no one has been there in a long time, nice bottles everywhere!
Its clear that everyone looks at the cities skyline and not the beach right in front of them.
I take the best and leave the rest, if you see any that I should have picked up let me know in the comments below.

That's my favorite too! I also fou d a super sweet whiskey bottle that I picked up on the way off of the beach. This spot is absolutely packed with tourists, I left so much there as I wasn't prepared to carry everything I found.

I used to operate a big clam shell dredge all around the coast, in the 70’s I dug the south side of False Creek, used to be a dump now all Condos, thousands of old bottles and other interesting things including an old safe ( empty I checked 😀) were loaded onto mud scows, I managed to get a few good ones but they were later stolen off the rig, you never knew what would come up in the bucket, made things interesting, wish I had my Nox back then would have been fun.

Loved the poison bottle. When I go to the lake, river, creeks, or beach, I do some mudlarking. I also combine MD and mudlarking.

No not mica it's called pearlescent or opalescent glass and is the result of the glass cooling unevenly due to the varied thickness of the glass. I know there is more to it than that but that's the basic reason. There are a number of factors involved and there are lots of articles available on the net that explain in detail. GL&HH
