I can't imagine how much income that yahoo cost the ENTIRE town and the county in tax revenue. Some of those stores only break even during Christmas. That store selling sleds has taken a bad hit. Only non-locals would screw things up. I see there is snow on top of the cab which means it had been parked somewhere. I'm sure some forensics person knows how old that snow is by the level. Maybe someone got a picture with it stationary in front of someone's house and can find out where it had been parked.... It's gonna suck if it turns out to be gang-banger wannabes from Tacoma. Leavenworth is small, someone knows something. In the least,they'll probably get nailed with civil lawsuits. I can see why no one went to confront them, who wants to take on a metal killing machine. Probably with an impaired driver. Leavenworth only has 71 salaried employees. I don't see Chief of Police listed anywhere. Maybe it's Sheriff's Department?. Even rent-a-cops wouldn't have endangered their life.

Yeah but they were there just taking pictures of their car under the lights. Yeah they were in the wrong, but had only backed their car up a few feet in the mud. The guy in the truck wasn't with them and made all the mess. Since they had the footage and plates of the truck, they gave it to the cops and basically got off the hook for helping out the cops if I understand correctly.

I mean I don't think it ruins the Holiday, despite being really reckless and rude. No mention of the cost of repair, which yes there is. Heavy Vehicles on wet ground, speeding around, not sure if it will need grading / resurfacing leveling, but likely more dirt and sod and or seed put in and the equipment to do so. Confident theres footags with more information to catch them. But who knows if thats the legal owner of the car.

Relax people. I live here. Yes the truck made -more -mud. However, it’s very warm and barely any snow in the park anyhow after already THOUSANDS of sleds, so no snow anyways on the tiny hill itself, and truck did not go there. Getting a foot of snow ❄️ tomorrow. All is FINE.

I'm there now nothing is closed! kids are still sledding sure the grass was damaged but it gets damaged every year from the kids sledding! No worries the city of greed is in full swing costing a senior handycap person $100 for overnight parking and then the handycap senior had to hobble in the snow for 1/2 mile to get to downtown! Leavenworth cares not for seniors or handcap! Why should any one care if an idiot does a donut in the snow but I'm sure they will get more than their moneys worth making an example of that poor dumb kid!

In this state the police refuse to respond. Our police are Sheriffs and the Cheif is a person named Patti Cole Tindall. She is hired, not elected. Her boss is the executive of one county in our state, King County. Both of them have multiple times over the years refused to enforce laws based on how they feel at the moment. With zero federal oversight these two have destroyed all respect of the law in this state.
