I use those network adapters for old computer that only have a 10/100 network cards. The 1 GB to USB adapters are pretty cheap now and days You should do a video on security updates, explaining things like 'elevation of privileged "

Great video as usual but, and there's rarely a but with your videos Lowall, but today there is :) DoH - People need to understand its only private from you to the cache resolver, that very first hop, it is not private from that point on, in other words, it only hides your DNS queries from your ISP, it wont hide them at any point onwards in the chain to the authoritative server., DoH is a non issue for GCHQ, NSA and the like. The next biggest problem is, using DoH is a step back in privacy for many users in countries that have legal protection from Govt and ISP's spying, they also have benefit that majority of ISPs in those countries have better things to do then spy on your DNS - I mean, cisco netflow anyone :) (to the uninformed, this means ISPs do not need your DNS requests if they really want to know where you go, and before someone says VPNs, yeah, history shows how well that works out... not) Lastly, giving your queries to third parties, and such a tiny number of them, is akin to centralising the Internet, in what world is that OK? When it started Cloudfare admitted they will LOG YOUR REQUESTS keeping them for 30 days, that blog post rather funnily has since vanished , Google ADMIT they use your data to target you, so there's logging,. Only if you live under control of a totalitarian government would DoH be a genuine option. That thankfully is not most western world societies.

Ressy6: Lots of great points in your comments, no DoH is not a total solution to privacy but ISP data harvesting is a problem for some and it helps. The steps to serious privacy are challenging for most folks and if you are living abroad in unfriendly countries you may have to move in that direction.

i would connect the VPN directly to the gateway, not directly to the Windows computers
