Yup you are right. She is supposed to execute the play. However, she was compelled to do more than that and has to play in full quarters to keep the team in better momentum. The team need more tall swift ballers

The Philippines badly needs the scoring of NCAA Ivy League standout Kayla Padilla to complement the ball control skills of Vanessa de Jesus. ⛹️‍♀️ Kayla of the Penn Quakers was the IVY League 2020 Freshman of the Year, 3-time All-Conference selection, and is the team's leading scorer at 17.8 ppg. She's a prolific inside/outside threat who's not afraid to take the 🏀 to the opponent. She's now a graduate transfer portal eligible player. I believe she's moving to the PAC 10 Conference. Don't frustrate urself, they don't prioritized representing the Philippines that's why they didn't really pursue the eligibility requirements, AJ Edu did because his mother wanted him, they never made that choice

Not frustrated at all. Kayla already expressed her willingness to play for her home country. She will be playing the 2023-2024 season with the USC Trojans in a Power 5 Conference as a graduate portal transfer. It would behoove Philippine Women's Basketball to consider bringing in all the talent that's available. There is also another Filipina baller Chanelle Molina, formerly of the Washington State U cougars, who's the leading scorer for her Swedish professional team Sodertalje. Anyway, we all admire Vanessa for her skills. I've been following her development since she began playing for Sierra Canyon HS and her club team in the American Athletic Union. She'll only get better playing international 🏀 ball. Congratz!

@@MusicOperaBroadway the question is their eligibility, unless they met the FIBA eligibility rule, they can't play at the same time with any FIBA sanctioned tournament, of course, we would like them in the team, but, they're willingness alone is not enough to make them eligible, they should meet the eligibility requirements first
