Vangelis is so amazing...one second you see cityscapes, then all the sudden you're in a pastoral countryside, then next thing you know you're in outer space. This piece is incredible (he's just improvising!!) and as a drum machine nerd I love hearing the Linndrum act as his foundation. Oh and all hail the Yamaha CS-80, maybe the most human synth ever created!

He must be very good technically, because there were talks of replacing Rick Wakeman with Vangelis in Yes. I mean, we're talking Rick Wakeman here. And from what I see he is not afraid of playing, sort of like Chick Corea or even Hiromi. I must say, I have been underestimating the man... Why? Because he did some commercial recordings that my father liked, and my father likes Presley, the Beatles, which totally suck to me...
