Question, If it rains and the front door is mostly mesh with a roll up flap inside surely the water is going to come in around the sides and bottom and flood onto the groundsheet inside ?

Hi, an earlier version of this tent, which we have is the Berkeley 500. With a slightly smaller footprint but very similar design, it has a built-in ground sheet in the front porch. Looking at the new model, it doesn’t have a built-in groundsheet. Do you know why they chose not to do this? What is the advantage of not having a sewn in groundsheet in the new model? It would be much better in my opinion, having had this wonderful earlier model for so long if the new model had a sewn in ground sheet which we have found fantastic in the rain as it keeps all the rain out. Anyway, I would be very interested to know your opinion! Also, the earlier Berkeley model material seems much more robust than the current version. Is this your impression as well?

Really like these vids and they are very helpful but just 2 things missing , could price be mentioned in these vids ? Also would be great to Also have a packed tent in it's bag for size reference , that would be super helpful , thanks

We tend to reframe from talking directly about the price as this can sometimes change through the season but we provide the link in the description so that you can see the live price then and there. I think having a tent packed would be a good option to add to the video, so we’ll take that onboard.

Does this have a sewn in groundsheet in the bedroom area?

The bedroom inner tent is completely sewn in, so when you close the bedroom door you will be sealed in.

The first delivery into the UK isn’t until the start of May unfortunately.

@@markpotts4428 the other option is the Vango Carron 500 which is the sand tent but different fabric and a touch less mesh.

The writing on the side of the tent is incorrect as it is a pre-production sample but it is the Vango Cragmor Tent.
