This tent has a design fault. The front side porch canopy pole puts too much tension on the tent. Without even pegging out the stitching on both sides of the pole ripped. Very disappointed that the stitching and tension points were not reinforced. Else the tent is excellent!

Hi Mike. Always enjoy your videos, very informative! I'm looking at buying my first air tent and I like the look of the ventanas. I'm also very interested in the studland 8 just for that extra space. Aside from the space differences between the two, would there be a compelling reason to go with the ventanas over the studland or vice versa? Quality differences?

Well I would say that even though the Studland 8 has a bigger floor plan, the Ventanas actually feels a bit bigger in size because the beams are a lot more vertical (so you don’t loose the first foot of the tent to the slope). Vango do offer a longer warranty, so you get a 3 year warranty (once it is registered with Vango) in comparison to a 1 year with Kampa (2 years on the tubes). The Ventanas also has a roller bag, built on storage annexe, deeper bedrooms, darker bedrooms and SkyTrack. Do you think you would ever consider a Polycotton version of the Ventanas?

@@AttwoollsCoUk thanks for that. The villa construction is certainly a big plus as would be the warranty. I have considered poly cotton however I will be exclusively camping in Ireland. Appreciate the extra life span and the noise factor but think I'm already stretching budget at circa 1500 so not sure I want to go another 300+

Pip's Allotment Garden it is all relevant to use to be honest, so where you go, how long for, how to take care of it, where you store it. I’ve had my PolyCotton the best part of 15 years and it’s still going strong.

Attwoolls Outdoors I’d be looking to buy something that would last us 10 years plus a few years. We used to have Vango Casa sold as we want airbeam, we really like the size and design of Vango Ventanas but it’s not in the TC, so holding out for the 2021 specs. That extra storage is very nice on the side, and the TC sounds like it would be cooler in the tent on holidays down Cornwall, casa was like a sauna lol. But because we are seeing it as investment for 10 plus years I think TC might be really relevant to us.

There are retailers that ships this tent to the US. Not sure why atwools chooses not to sell outside of UK. I contacted vango and they warranty their tents anywhere in the world.
