In the gitz box, you forgot to mention (i think) that the squig hopper kit can also be build as boinggrot bounders, the "heavy cav" version. So you go from 190 points to 320 points, making the box a lot better pointwise

When I first started with AoS, I got the Dominion box as my second purchase (first one was the warrior starter box) and it has been the best buy I ever did! So if people can still find it and they want to run Krule boyz or Stormcast, 100% a recommendation!

On the Ogre box in context with Warhammer: The Old World, you are getting a bit more than 750 points if choosing the cheapest options. A Bruiser, two 4er units of Bulls, two Leadbelchers, the Ironblaster and two Mournfang Riders add up to 753 points. Add a box of Ironguts and you can get this to a fine 1000 points army (with some command options and magic items). The only other thing needed would be the correct bases (i.e. 40mm square for all Ogres on foot, 50x100 for the Mournfangs and 60x100 for the Ironblaster).

Heads up regarding "Stormbringer" in Germany: issue #11 (with the big Kruleboyz bowthing) is out next week, i.e. from 3rd of April. The following week (from 10th of April) in issue #12 you get the SCE chariot. Note that with those two issues and the contents of the "Dominion" box you have everything you need to play both the SCE and Kruleboyz Vanguard/Spearhead... sort of. Since "Dominion" has a different unit for the basic SCE infantry and no command group for the Kruleboyz footsloggers, you would need to proxy a little bit - personally I would not consider this a big deal in this game format.

It should probably be noted that there's only one issue of kreulboyz stormbringer left to come out and that's the very last issue, if you in the UK though, forbidden planet does still have some of the old issues available

Not to be rude, but I think we would all appreciate if these came out faster. GW will be replacing the Vanguard boxes very soon and there really isn't anyone else analyzing them like you are.

IF they replace them, they won't replace them before 4th edition hits, which will likely be second half of June, still three months away. And even then, the rollout of Spearhead boxes won't be all at once but staggered. There's plenty of time. Additionally, if you are eyeing a specific box and are getting FOMO about it, simply get it. They are all good deals and include good units for the faction in question. If you want to collect/play Soulblight Geavelords but the Fyreslayers box has 2% better savings, will you flip your faction choice on the spot?

GW just announced all existing Vanguard boxes will simply be relabelled as Spearhead so it turns out all of these videos are way in advance 😁 thanks for the great breakdowns!

i'd consider the starter set or extremis set for the gutrippas, it gives you 10 gutripas with spears, 10 goblins and a spellcaster. gives more modularity

Quark! Türlich gab es den Orruk Gussrahmen. Als die Vanguard der Orruks raus kam ist der Gussrahmen aus dem GW Shop verschwunden, that's it. Der hatte aber den gleichen Preis die das Donnerschlagkommando (war mal 85 Euro, heute 100 Euro). Wundert mich schon ein Weilchen, ich hatte erwartet dass das Donnerschlagkommando nach Ankündigung der Spearhead aus dem Sortiment genommen worden wäre. Aber grundsätzlich gleiches Spiel wie mit dem Herrscherrat der Necrons & Würdentäger des Ordens aus Indomitus oder den Schwarmschrecken & Helden des Ordens aus Leviathan. Einzig dass der Alphakrieger längst draußen ist, ist eine Abweichung zum sonstigen Verhalten von GW, die HQs auf den Starterboxen erst raus zu bringen wenn die neue Edition da ist (s. Bladeguard Lt. & Cap. sowie Königswächter & der Hochlord mit Tachyonenpfeil). Denn der Easy to Buils Termi-Cap. kommt ggf. auch erst in 40k 11th. Und ich vermute die 4 HQs aus Dominion kommen im Herbst diesen Jahres - außer natürlich, die fliegen aus den Battletomes.
