Hi ! Thanks for sharing your passion for the tyranid codex. I tried a variation of your list replacing the norns by old one eye and his friends, and a barbed hierodule... Vs Thousand Sons Unfortunately, as I suspected with this detachment, the units it benefits are not dealing enought damage to over come the high resilience of the Thousand Sons. Moreover even the zoanthropes and the hierodule didn't do as espected because we haven't any buffs (sustainained hits...) Finally the lack of the 5+++ strat was hard, especially when your opponent can remove your saves leaving the big boys neaked... À very interesting game Anyway, not sûre that this detachment is currently the best with marines, custodes, IK, RK,... Being top contenders... For sûre it has it's role against some matchups....

Thanks for sharing your insight! T-Sons have swapped from being really weak against us in previous editions cause we could actually stop all their psychic shenanigans to being one of our worst matchups. We don't have prevalent invulns and we don't have high AP. Their ability to just shoot out of LoS can drastically hurt us. That's a bummer about the zoanthropes though, really thought they'd do more. I'll see if I have any better luck before totally writing it off!

@@deviousdonut still some shenanigans possible with the zoanthropes, removing them and placing them on the table from reserves for a strike is interesting... They are really lacking movement, the strat is great on them...

Hey mate enjoyed the video and I'm pretty excited about playing Vanguard Onslaught... I do have a question. How would you go about playing this army against custodes (or another Terminator heavy army) or something with lots of big armour (knights?)

Y0u have t0 be really g00d, y0u cant kill them in a single melee y0u have t0 g0 big with a l0t 0f unit 0r be very skilled
