After the GNOME 45.2 update, I've encountered difficulties in customizing various aspects such as terminal theme, file icons, file theme, settings theme, and cursor theme. These were settings I had previously customized using the GNOME Tweak legacy application, and they no longer seem to be working. Could you provide insights into these changes and suggest any alternatives for customization?

This is an interesting distro, I love that it asked me to install propietary GPU drivers (nvidia). But it is still immature. Disk encryption is in beta version now, if you install Firefox in 3 different subsystems, still just one can be open at a time. Not everything works well, they still change this distro version to version, so it need one, two, three years before we can seriously use it. But the idea behing Vanilla is great.

Besides GNOME light/dark theming can you install gnome extension and do a tiny bit of customization on Vanilla OS?

Can you review Bedrock Linux as well? It kinda like Vanilla OS but you dig a little bit deeper. I think it would be a cool experience though!

I had very similar problems with Vanilla version 1. I was very excited about the OS but these problems are deal killers. Sad to see it's not any better in v2.

I also got the same problems. Vanilla OS 1 has been a really great experience for me but Orchid is just so difficult. It's too different compared to Vanilla OS 1.
