Vanilla Roll Cake
Ingredients:
1/4 cup cooking oil
1/4 oatmeal milk
1 cup flour
5 Eggs
1tbsp Vanilla extract
1 tsp Lemon juice
1cup Sugar
Strawberry Jam
Ingredients:
1 cup strawberry
1/4cup sugar
1 tsp lemon
Baking instructions
Crack open 5 eggs, and separate the yolk from the egg whites. In the bowl containing egg yolk, sift 1 cup of flour, add 1 tsp vanilla extract, add 1 tsp salt, and use a whisker to whisk around until the batter is nice and smooth. In the bowl containing egg yolk use an electric mixer to mix for about 3 to 4 minutes until the egg yolk turns a nice fluffy foam. Add 1/3 cup of sugar in three parts as the egg has been mixed. Add 1 tsp lemon juice, and mix thoroughly. Add a small portion of egg white mixer to the egg yolk batter. Mixer to get a nice smooth even consistency. Combine your egg yolk mixer, and egg white foam, mixed thoroughly. Pour the mixture into a baking pan that is lined with parchment paper, and ensure that the mixture is spread evenly across the bottom of the pan. Bake in the oven for 35 minutes at 340°. To make strawberry jam, add 1/4 cup of sugar in a pan on the stove on medium heat, add 1 cup of strawberries, use a spoon to mix around thoroughly, add 1tsp lemon juice, mix continuously for the liquid to evaporate, mix continually throughout the cooking process. Ensure that most of the liquid evaporates and the strawberry jam will start to thicken up. Put this on a bowl of ice, so that it cools down rapidly. After the cake is baked remove the cake from the baking pan and use a pizza cutter to cut off all the corners of the cake to expose nice smooth sides. Use a spatula to spread strawberry jam onto the upper surface of the cake. Use parchment paper to fold your cake into a cylindrical shape. Put in a refrigerator for 1 hour. Enjoy! Love your life.
