The way he consistently weaves sensible life advice into interviews and bits like this without dripping cheese all over the floor, gives me the impression that he is a genuine person in the moment and not just self marketing. 🤔 Anyway, I liked Looper specifically because of his subtle impression of Bruce Willis - its the small things everybody knows about Bruce that he conveyed so well, it became the main attraction of the film for me. To this day, 500 days of Summer remains as one of my favorites ans one of the most original and well-written romcoms ever. Brilliant

Its so interesting to see how he engages and views movies. He has so much love for the craft and how films are made (praising the writers and directors that he's worked with), but he's also so invested in sharing the negatives of movies too showing how manipulative and unhealthy they can be

great video!! I love JGL as an actor, he is so into his craft and incredibly underrated- but this was just so fun to watch because of the production and overall aesthetic compared to other "actors breaking down their characters/films while sitting in front of a white background".

For some reason I forgot he was in 500 days of summer but I recently saw 10 things I hate about you and was like “lol how are they connected?”

Mysterious Skin is one of his best roles, but it’s so heartwrenching & uncomfortable to get through. if you can handle upsetting movies, I highly recommend it

Loved this interview...so many little things about the art of movie making. You can tell he has a deep passion for film-making while also having a healthy attitude about the idealism of it.

One of the actors that I enjoy watching no matter genre or budget rate he's playing in. IMO, he's such a good storyteller and performer. At 17:44 the way he squeezed and laughed at the scene is so relatable, and I like it when he just throws many life-movie comments while watching himself on screen 😂

I can totally see Bruce as being the type of guy who doesnt directly pay compliments but instead sort of in an off the cuff type of way. Love JGL ever since Third Rock.

There's been so many moments in my life where I have thought about that scene in 500 days of summer. The expectation Vs reality thing was so clever and so relevant to life sadly 😂
