Awww wait this is actually really sweet. MGK is such a sweetheart and tries like /so/ hard to be a supportive friend throughout it. Like... you can tell he's Pete's like biggest cheerleader and genuinely is a fan of whatever his friend does. That's so cute to see friends supporting friends. I want a friendship like that. And Pete's very much the same. Like in both their answers they didn't even /hesitate/ in talking about how awesome the other is and didn't even seem nervous about how the results would read because they like /knew/ it's true. You can tell both just think the other is awesome. The way he is /adamant/ that Pete is the best cast member and even when the lie detector guy said he was lying he seemed like /genuinely/ surprised. Like he wasn't just saying that to hype Pete up, he /genuinely/ thought that - or at least /thought/ that he thought that if we're believing the lie detector is 100% accurate. (My personal opinion is everyone on SNL is so hilarious and different in their forms of comedy that to compare them would be like comparing apples and oranges, like... how can you say who is better when they're all so different but I digress). Point is, it's awesome to see friends who just /genuinely/ think the other is awesome and talented and not just saying that because they /have/ to say that as their best friend.
