I think she wanted to highlight that specifically with "Malena" and "Irreversible" since they both feature horrific scenes her characters go through. I have loved Monica since I was a very little girl. She reminds me of my mother, who is also an extraordinarily and classically beautiful woman. Women with a quiet, beguiling, almost regal sense of power about themselves. Calm. Intelligent. Poised. Maybe a little bit of darkness and danger about them, too, if you chose to tempt fate… I went on a job interview at Forever 21 many years ago now, and one of the questions was something like, “who are three of your personal fashion inspirations” or maybe just to name 3 celebrity figures who inspired me, if not that. One of my answers was of course …Monica Bellucci. The interviewer (a girl a few years younger than I was, at the time) had no idea who I was talking about when I referenced her. I brought up the Matrix, her bit spot in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Malena, Passion of the Christ 😂😂 nada. I kind of expected it since at the time she was more of a low key figure in pop culture. Nowadays, though, everybody knows her thanks to the likes of this generation’s version of the “Megan Fox avi” online population. But anyways-no, I did NOT get the job. 😂 I take it as a credit to my OG status as a Bellucci fan, though.

you should be proud to be italians! My great love to italians started after Mondiale 2006 and my beloved Azzurri, you have a lot to be proud of, not just Monica😊😉
