RDJ didn't just play Tony Stark. He is Tony Stark. Stan Lee said he was born under a lucky star the moment they met.

It's amazing how this guy can make you love him just by his character. Talk about charisma

Now we’re gonna see Dr. Doom and see first hand how well his new resources learned in Oppenheimer can serve him for the MCU!! Yes, I am indeed on RDJ binge since the announcement lol

No mention of natural born killers or Tropic Thunder, which he was outstanding in too. What a career he’s had

I will definitely agree. In every other RDJ film I have seen he always has that feel, that quick witted comeback, even in dramatic roles. In Oppenheimer, it's definitely not RDJ. It's physically him, but definitely not his style and it shows us that this may have been his biggest challenge.

I believe Oppenheimer is going to be Robert Downey, Jr.‘s best supporting actor win

He appeared the most humane version of himself. Always seeing him as the goofball, the sarcastic one, and, in here, he looks completely different. Getting in touch with his emotions, giving his personal version of the events, highlighting the people he worked with, while filming all those films really shows how a person can change with a simple movement. Congrats, Robert, you're doing it great. Furthermore, here since Tropic Thunder, his acting was genious.
