Season 2 was confirmed by the director back in November. I'm guessing they'll use flashbacks to show us more background on previous characters who have died.

It has been confirmed that Squid Game season 2 will be coming we just don't know when and if any of the old characters return that are dead (besides Gi Hun) I think that the best way to put them in is through flashbacks or ghosts of them I would like to see them like that becouse I don't think that it would make sense for them to return back alive
