Vankyo 510 Leisure Projector: External Speaker Hook Up (How To Video)

I am upgrading my outdoor movie setup and purchased a
Vankyo 510 Leisure Projector. I hooked up external speakers and it sounds great!

Has anyone had problems when hooking up external speakers using the attachment that only one side of the speaker works? Usually when I use the speaker I use both sides are working

I have this projector. I picked up a vankyo performance v620 native 1080p projector last week. I'm getting rid of it and keeping my leisure 510. Apparently it can't be beat. I'll take the 720p with amazing stereo sound and quality build over the 1080p with shitty sound, louder fan and longer throw distance/smaller screen size. It's like they aren't even made by the same company. The v630 is the same way, only sound settings are base and treble adjustment, no surround sound, no Dolby, easily half the volume and for some reason the 1080p projector gives me a headache due to motion blur while gaming, leisure 510 doesn't, smooth as butter! If they ever come out with a leisure 520 that's a little brighter and 1080p but everything else the same, I'm buying like 3 of them.

The one connects to the other. Only one of them have the amp built in but they both use it.

This projector gets the job done pretty well. kzbin.infoUgkxS9P8zTOcmQg-hH0QeUi3dspOLyYgQ6dH Bear in mind it's a mini projector but all things considered the picture quality is pretty good. The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.

Yes you can. I have an iPhone, so you have to purchase a Lightning to Digital AV Adapter to do so. One end of the adapter plugs into your iPhone and the other end has an HDMI connection, so with a cable you connect the Adaptor to the Projector. It works great, I am able to stream anything from my iPhone to the projector. They are about $40. From what I understand, other phones, like Samsung, do not require the adaptor. Good luck!

You would have to have a wireless plug in. I do think they make them but I don't know much about them.

Yes, by using a small wireless Bluetooth transmitter. The ones that have a built in rechargeable battery, will give you around 10+ feet of transmission range, and 4-5 hours of power. That is what I use to send the sound from my portable projector, to a my Altec Lansing bluetooth LifeJacket 2 speaker, which is more than enough for the occasional backyard movie night. Anyway, you can find these 3.5mm Bluetooth transmitter/receivers on eBay and AliExpress. Just make sure you look for the Bluetooth 5.0 version to get the best/lowest audio latency.

What can I do if my amp doesnt have 3.5 input. How do I connect my bookshelf speakers to my projector. My projector has bluetooth and Wi-Fi built in but my amp and speakers dont. Im currently running them via optical to TV for sound and chromecast for streaming/music

My amp didn't either. You can purchase a cord with a 3.5 input on one end and just about any other connection you need on the other end on Amazon for cheap. I purchased the 3.5 to the RCA jacks for $8. See the link in the description. You can find any end you need for cheap.

@@krypton1142 I guess you never had to square up the image (with the keystone correction knob) when the projector is angled quite a bit upward? If you did, you would have noticed one or more of the comers become blurry (and that's solely due to the quality of the lens assembly used in this projector).
