I own the V620 and the V630, the V630 is like 5% brighter (you can't even tell the difference) but the V630 fan is 70% louder! Buy the V620, no question about it, you will absolutely LOVE IT💗 Hands down best projector I've ever owned.

The fact that you can still see the image when the blinds are completely open tell me Vankyo didn't cheap out on brightness output. I've seen Ebay projectors claim 7000 lumens and in full light completely disappear. For the price, the Vankyo really isn't too bad if you want to have movie nights in your house.

Yeah those are all false claims because the Chinese market isn't regulated on ANSI/Lumen/Lux ratings. Quite like this one, it's a fantastic budget projector, but is nowhere near 6500lumens. At 6500lumens you can light up your street with it like headlights from a car, and the fact that $15k+ projectors by name brand manufacturers (which are regulated) have a lumen rating of between 2000-2600, this projector comes in at around 1200-1500lumens.

FYI for anyone who never gamed on a projector . Once you get one with low input lag and pair it with a next gen system, pc, or even older game consoles , you will never go back to a tv. It's just too amazing.

I have an Infocus business projector that has 2500 actual lumens and you can use it with lights on in the room. In the dark it's too bright. I bought the v630w and it was dim looking in total darkness. I returned it for that and it had dust or something on the inside of the lens right out of the box.

V630 has only 30fps and considerable input lag. For games id go for the v600 it has 60 FPS and low latency. Check out other videos comparing v600 and v630

I would look for an used better quality projector for that price. The budget projectors are fine, but they're really too noisy to watch daily tv on it. if you have the possibility to get a hushbox, try it.

I heard their was quite a bit of input lag with this projector. You would have to game on a projector with less than 40 ms input lag. Something like the Viewsonic pa503w is one the cheaper projectors with low input lag

@@Carissana it does 60hz, and the reason for over 100in screen unreadable is the fact that it's not 6500lumens, its more like 1200-1500 in reality because the Chinese market isn't regulated and flood places like Amazon with false claims of 4klumens and above.

I have this hooked up to a high end AVR and it shows the input source as @1080p/60hz. The screen tearing is due to your graphics cards inability to truly provide the image and causes the distortion as the image is out of sync. Try setting a different aspect ratio from your graphics card and match the output for refresh rate, if you have it at 30,45hz or 75hz in your OS like windows or Mac's graphic card settings and your resolution (aspect ratio), it will be distorted as the input into the projector is not matched to the output of the projector. I also run this straight from my PC and the RTX 2080 Ti and it does great!

Has anyone run into an issue with the Digital Keystone. I amTrying to get help from Vankyo. Hoziontal and Verticle works (thru the menus), but when you power off the projector, and power on, the custom keystone settings are still there, but don't enable till you adjust them. So when you power off/on, the projection is crooked (if projector placement is offset) Little annoying, but not the end of the world.

Keystone setting seems to have a mind of its own. Usually you can turn the Auto Adjust ON and screen pops back into a rectangle but not every single time. A little annoying but easy to tweak it into a rectangle again.

Anyone have any idea why audio on V630 with FireTVstick 4K would stop working? Was working perfect when turned off night before. Checked all sound & audio settings in projector & Firestick. Nothing on youtube. I'm stumped.

Just found cause of no audio guys. A bluetooth sound adapter connected to A/V receiver in living room was on and paired/connected with Firestick/projector in back bedroom without me realizing it. Turned receiver & bluetooth adapter off and it's all good now. Projector speaker is disabled when bluetooth or audio jack is used.

Someone should probably point out how dusty the lens gets, and that there is no way to clean it. It's great if you do a 1 hour test... just use it around 10 hours and see what happens. I am sending mine back, bad design, dust goes everywhere on the many lenses and mirrors. What about all the blur around the edges? Only the middle is sharp. It only has about 270 lumens.
