I do agree with your comment in the other video, to get your van some weather shields for the front windows, so even during rainy days, you can still slightly open both windows. Now that you have your drone, even with blocked entry, you can still see the beauty, as long as you're not at the national parks. Nice footages!!

Thanks. I really should just get the weather shields. They're not too expensive. The drone is great for seeing things ....kind of tempting me to buy a bigger one that can fly further 😂

Another fine video. It's interesting how us humans are so attracted to water as a highlight. Beaches, lakes, rivers, creeks waterfalls, dams. Keep up the good videos 👍

Jason , I find your videos so beautiful and rich Ilive with my mum who I’m losing to Dementia Your travels help me get out of my situation mentally & let me see , feel , imagine the world as your experiencing it Full of wonderful scenery & personal adventure Thank you for taking us with you Your conversation is natural and you provide an honest commentary You have the knack of allowing your viewers to see both sides the joy & the frustration I very much appreciate the extra insight that comes from your Drone footage The expansive effect of seeing our country from above is a wonderful bonus for us all ! 🖼️ 😊👍 🚁 Safe Travel 🍀

Thank you very much, Gaye! It really keeps me motivated to hear that you and others enjoy the videos in this way. 😊 My mother is heading down a similar path, though she's mostly self sufficient at this stage. It's not easy. I hope you still manage to find time to look after yourself as well!

Thanks for another lovely video Jason. Could almost smell that glorious rainforest. The colour at Bridal Veil Falls and the size of those trees, you were absolutely dwarfed in one. Cheers.

Thanks Jason for the beautiful footage of the rainforest, waterfalls, and the sublime bird songs. Port Macquarie looks great (another one for bucket list). Re “have to video edit every day or I don’t keep up with it…” Remember this is YOUR Roadtrip - take the time you need to have some down time. I’m sure we viewers can wait a bit for your next vid. You said you may head south to Vic; Wilson’s Prom a great NP to visit- heaps of wildlife loitering around at Tidal River campground. Random question- as you mainly stealth camp, did you ever think of painting your van green or in camo colours to blend in? The blue looks great though. Good luck with the forthcoming fracture clinic appointment.

Thank you 😊 Actually, the video editing is a good way to pass time and is at least productive. It's hardest when I go to really nice places and have a lot of footage to sort 😂. I make it work. That's why some videos are shorter than others. And thanks for you concern 😊 Been to Wilson's Prom a few times. Nice, but the walks are too big for me....if only they allowed bikes. It's almost worth paying the fine for the privilege of riding there 😂 I actually paid extra to get blue on my van. You'd be surprised how it disappears at night. White vans are far more obvious. 😂

The drone footage and choice of music at 12:30 was so good Jason! My kind of music I admit (played at my usual 1;75 speed) but loved this one. Your videos are improving all the time, but don't overdo the music and drone footage too much as we also like the talk. Thanks again Jason for inspiring me to keep pushing to follow you into this type of freedom.

😁 thanks mate, appreciate the feedback! That bit of music was a pain...was only very short and I needed to cut and splice it into a long enough clip 😂....think it came out alright though.

Wow, those massive trees are amazing! What a gorgeous rainforest. You always find the most magical places! I loved all the vibrant colours at Bridal Veil Falls, what a shame you couldn’t walk in there. Lucky you have the drone so you can still see it. Beautiful footage of Port Macquarie too. I love it there. You’re getting close to Crescent head now, are you going to check out Delicate camp ground? I’m hoping to get there soon in my van. I’ve just spent almost a week by myself in mine on the central coast. I’m loving van life so much more than caravan life lol

Looks like it's going to be a busy few weeks ahead for you. Since you like to venture into the wilderness alone, and if you don't have one, I'd recommend bringing a PLB with you. I have the GME Accusat MT610G GPS PLB. It's compact, and Australian made. And being a GME product, you'll know the quality will be there.

Hi Jason , love this video Just wondering this week going to be so hot , how do you cope?
@MakingStuffGoingPlaces
@MakingStuffGoingPlaces 2 ай бұрын
Thanks Suzanne. No real trick to dealing with hot weather. Just try to angle the van so I have a breeze coming in the door. Find shade if I can. At night, I have 2 roof fans, usually just turn the back one on exhaust and that pulls air straight on to the bed in the front.

A great way to check out all the beaches is to park around the breakwall in the town centre, buy/make a packed lunch and catch the bus (323 from memory) down to tacking point lighthouse. Walk back from there to the town centre. About 2.5-3.5 hours (depending on your fitness level) of lovely walking. More food options as you get closer to town. Thanks for the video J. You heading further north?
@MakingStuffGoingPlaces

That would have been a great way to do it! I'm in Tacking Point now 🙄 Need to head back to Sydney so will start going south now. Definitely will be going further north but probably in winter.
