Another idea for the pump bottle is to fill it with water, add ice if you have some and use it to mist yourself on hot days along with a fan.

I love my Lunatec spray bottle! I bought a larger bottle from Nalgene and an extension tube to give me more volume. I use mine for washing dishes, keeping cool, washing my hands/feet off, cooling off my dog. It’s a fantastic addition to my kit. I also purchased their scrubbing cloths because they don’t harbor food particles that cause bad bacteria. I’ll never use a sponge or scrub pad again. So glad you found this product! Thanks for sharing.

I bet that mirror thing would work hanging the other way.. I use a soda bottle lid with a hole in it and any bottle of water I have to rinse off sand and yuck. I reuse a lot of different size bottles because they can be stashed in all kinds of small spaces.. the tent looks awkward to get in and out of but would be nice to star gaze w/o bugs

I tried it the other way and it is too high. Believe it or not, the instructions say to use it from bottom like that🤔 Good idea to reuse bottles to rinse. Lol yes, the tent is a tight fit, but fun fun fun for stars!!!

Hi Dee! I have the spray bottle on my Amazon list & need to just get it ordered. The reusable grilling mats are a great idea, especially for those dirty public grills! Your screened popup tent will be great on your deck or anywhere free from the bugs & any nasty things! 🐜 🐍🐝 I ordered an item to help with the glaring sunshine. It’s an all-in-one that has a flip down for that low sun and a sliding piece for the middle area by the rear view mirror, which also works well with the visor moved to the side window for added coverage. Very nice little tent... the thought hit me, and it may well be what you meant too... in the cold weather camping, you mentioned a tent. So that with your fleece blanket over it would be very nice and toasty!

I definitely need that yellow visor for night vision, as I have trouble with light splintering at night, especially whenever it rains. I guess that tacvisor works in a similar way to the anti glare lenses that I got via my optician, which I do find are great for night time driving 🙂

@@LadyBugoutI've got different pairs of prescription specs all of which have varifocal lenses and with various additions to the lenses (worn specs since I was 5 years old so it's great to chop and change styles)........I have sports frames with transition lenses added for when I go cycling, a couple of pairs of prescription sunglasses, another pair with the anti glare added, a rimless pair again with transition lenses etc etc. When I go for a sight test at the optician, I get 2 pairs of frames then (they always have offers on), then any additional frames that I fancy I order those online using my new prescription details.

Great ideas for the sun. I've used things to block the sun that slip up into the window, mostly folded papers but you still have to move them around as you turn. A suggestion would be to glue little suction cups on the thing that goes around the rear view mirror to keep it up there. I also have one of those grill things. Hadn't thought to take it on road trips. Gonna dig it out. Thanks for the reminder.

My wife bought the Yoshi mats for grilling, I love them, there easy to clean up and reuse. She also got the Visor tech sun shade and we have one on both sides of our minivan. The yellow one works fantastic when you're driving at night as well as early morning when the sun is just in that spot in the windshield. Love the video. Safe travels.

Great gadgets and gear, Dee! Awesome spray bottle and grill mats. We have those grill mats and they are the best, even good for the bottom of the oven to catch stuff! Oh, a roof tent, love it!! Hope you're well! ~ Michelle & Brian

Good tips, TY, the links so useful and helpful 👍 I didn't wait, found your list of links, so good, and ordered the spay bottle. I'm thinking of getting another one for dish soap. Water savers are helpful another way to save water is a marine foot pump under the kitchen sink probably work for shower too. But for vans I think the black pipe on the roof is hard to beat using solor and gravity 💯✌👍
