That misanthrope dude on the dock was not to be taken seriously. We live down here in the Golden Isles. The water on St. Simons, Jekyll and Cumberland is great for swimming and there certainly aren't syringes and flesh eating bacteria. I spat out my drink when I heard him say that! You saw it for yourself. It's beautiful here and the ocean is great for swimming and even some surfing. Waters a little darker due to the marshes but most definitely not the death trap that guy portrayed. :)

Great video, Katya! It brought up a memory of my Grandma from the late 90s. She was about 86 at the time. We had been having a heart-to heart. She was saying how she was the last of a generation, and the world had moved on without her. "I don't understand this modern world, I'm left in the past!" While we were talking, she had a quiz show on tv with subtitles. The question flashed up on the screen, "who is Norman Cook better known as?" Quick as a flash, my "relic of the past" Grandma piped up: "FATBOY SLIM! Yep, he's married to Zoe Ball!" 😂
