WOW!😳, I really enjoyed watching and listening along ...as you disassembled Lucky's 'private' parts!😮. Its soooooo AMAZING to me how all those gadgets connect to make Lucky a self contained 'power' station!🙌🎉. And then there's the lake ...just BEAUTIFUL. Always GREAT to see PRETTY Penny ...keep up the AWESOME remodel on Lucky, take care, stay safe & God bless you Matthew!👍🤗💖😇

Another video chock full of Matthew goodness! I remember when you were building Lucky and had to keep getting more construction adhesive. At one point you said "I don't know if I need it, but it's got to do something, right?" And now you know that it DID do something. I remember you hanging that photo of you and Baby B and how touched you were when Lindsey gave it to you. You should re-create that photo soon with Princess B. How much has changed in that time and how much has stayed the same. What an awesome adventure. Thank you for taking us along for the ride.

@Matthew, have you tried sleeping in your parents’s recliner to see if it makes a difference with your back? Recliners help a lot of people, if it helps you too; you could put a recliner in your van instead of a platform bed 🛏 maybe? Just thought I’d mention it 😊. BTW, red 🛑 is a good color for you, especially on camera 👍👍.

Mathew, I would suggest that you run your main negative from the battery to the shunt, then to the negative busbar. Ground to chassis from the busbar. love you!
@OutbackOntario7 ай бұрын
sorry , the reasoning is that your creating voltage drop because every electron has to pass through the chassis, all the way back to ground. In the event (with the current groundling location ) that the ground becomes compromised, rust or whatever, then the entire system would fail.
@michaeltichonuk21767 ай бұрын
@OutbackOntario Could that be the cause of the two different values hes getting? I'm converting a van, just about completed demo. Been running a SUV for years, no shunt, frame is ground circuit. fridge/freezer dedicated solar/alternator charging. Thanks for bring this to my attention!

It's very interesting seeing you deconstruct Lucky and your thoughts as you try to figure the best way to put everything back together. I've watched lots of van build videos but you rarely get to see the thinking and planning part of the process, so it is nice to see that here. If you have to end up getting rid of some of your existing build that has stickers on that you don't want to lose, get a hairdryer and gently warm stickers for 10-15 seconds, it softens the adhesive and you are often able to remove them intact enough to stick back in a new place. I got this tip from someone else online and it's so handy. Doesn't work for all of them but you can save a lot this way. Hope that is helpful :)

Hello Matt looks like you’re in a little bit of project as for the piano hinge. Yes you can cut that down just KZbin it lol also you can get your plywood pre-cut at Home Depot to whatever you want three cuts minimum and then after that it’s so much per cut so just well warning on top of the cost of ploughing also you could look in the pre-cut section and see what they have for pre-cut plywood. They do have a section for that unless this Home Depot is different than what I know but anyways looking forward to seeing how it’s gonna turn out Cause I myself I’m moving to a van moving on going to sell the motorhome get what I can get for it gonna be moving up to kit

So if you take your small parts and put them in zip lock bags, you don't loose the screws, and kinda keeps things somewhat organised. And yes you can cut your piano hinge to what ever size you need. I'm getting sad watching your bed come apart...that was the 1st video of yours I watched looking for ideas for Jet Girl. I think that is when I actually subbed to your channel (you weren't some cute picture in Chrome's livestreams anymore). I think the tri fold with double hinges is a great idea! And you can cut those hinges - 36 inch hinges centered would work really good. Then you could figure out a leavering option for the back piece and put your bed into a chaise lounge option for video game/movie night!!! O.K. over reminiscing sadness- now I'm just excited to see what develops! You might even be able to finagle a comfortable seating option finally! What size are those circuit breakers you're looking for...I have some 40A in the style you like floating in my tool box. I could send them up in the Lucky 2.0 house warming gift I'm assembling 😉 And no sweeping dirt onto your phone at 33:35-I guess some memories don't need to be relived...LOL

Hey Matthew! Observing and learning! Just about to start a van conversion, years in a SUV and biggie sizing lifestyle. Electrical is a huge deal i think. " How am I going to use it?" How am i going to service it?" Stuff fails at the least oppertune time, dark, cold and far from parts. 😂. Im thinking cupboard/closet, like the one yourtaking down. Less depth maybe. Even behind Something or other Stuff. I dunno. Its why im watching. 😂. Only a little demo left before i begin build. In States and would like to launch in time for Eclipse. BTW.
