VanMoof Labs: Dust

In our Labs, we push our bikes to the limit - and beyond - to make sure they can handle anything the city throws their way.
We lock our VanMoof S5 & A5 in a dust chamber and create our own confined, eight hour long dust storm. That way, we know airborne particles won't affect their performance when they're out in the city.

No, they are still working on it, will take a couple of years however. Theyre starting with improving current models and getting all parts ready and in stock.

And where exactly are sandstorms in Europe ? Have you tested it with snow and rain ?

Test it in normal circumstances! who is going to ride in an 8 hour sandstorm, if u even can do that? battery life would never make it. That's why so much vanmoof's break down under "normal" behaviour. It's not tested properly. I got lucky with my s3 2021. But what are you guys thinking? make some decent saddle and pedals. those things are way too clumsy.

Huh? If it survives 8 hour sandstorms, it will for sure survive normal conditions. What kind of logic is this?? Also A5 & S5 are very solid bikes, which can't be said about previous models like S3 & X3.
