If you're not trolling you're just a simple man. Dirty graphics is negotiable, but the gameplay is very, very good. The depth of the systems is very clear and the innovations Platinum introduced to the third person shooter genre are widely praised. If you just don't like it that's understandable. Also Vanquish 2 will pretty much never happen, not just because Mikami is at his own company, but because Platinum's ideology is to create original and unique new IPs instead of rehashing old ones for sequels. They make exceptions for stellar examples such as Bayonetta, but most of the time they try to work on new things.

One of my favorite games of all time. Even got the Platinum and beat it on God Hard Mode. To this day I still think about the game and how awe inspiring and challenging many moments were. I'm glad PC players are finally getting a chance to play this beauty, and with many improvements at that. The best version of the game. Enjoy guys.

Used parts are thee way to go for good performance at cheaper prices.Make sure to get them from reputed places though,where you can refund on DOA's. Don't cheap out on PSU though,brand new tier 1 or at the least tier 2.

If the game developers wouldn't be so full of shit retards. They would have real time rendered the cutscenes how it should always be done. Then you only had to download ~3GB and not 18GB. Just like in Metal Gear Rising and Shadow of Mordor. Inept developers are still a thing today...

I do not believe there is mouse accelaration, In fact you can change mouse sensitivity of each of the three zoom levels to your liking as well (this can be done on the controller as well but its still worth pointing out.

Vanquish is mainly a cover shooter and when u leave cover u use a bullet time slow mo mechanic so the game running 30 with occasional minor drops on PS3 was fine for me. I was able to beat the final challenge which is extremely hard no matter the frame rate.

Chanticleer's Abusive Manager it's fine. If 60 fps is 50 ms than 30 is no more than 100 ms with diminishing returns once u get past 60 fps. Not a big deal if u have good reaction time. Sadly I think the majority of PC elitists don't.

Playing at 30 fps is a disappointing experience, regardless of how good a game is. It can be enjoyable, but not enjoyed to its fullest. Like driving 30 mph on a highway. Or sex with a condom vs without.

There have been major issue with regard to cross-brand compatibility. Case and point: Crysis and it's 256x Tessellation ran at closer to 20 FPS on AMD, while it ran perfectly on Nvidia, same settings. IIRC. Edit: Also gotta keep in mind that Ryzen is based around strong multi-threading, rather than pure single-core, so testing AMD would be able to see how well the game handles that.

Galvanized Dreamer Yeah I guess it could present some problems but then again most of platinum games have been hit or miss on PC. In regards to Ryzen I seriously doubt it'd be a problem, I've seen a few reviews using an i5 at 3.2GHz and it doesn't push all the cores to the max. I'm sure a R5 1500x would do just fine.

Procastimando yeah people don't realize that. halo, gearz, uncharted, gt, forza, and god of war are amazing feats of optimization. hell god of war 3 was hitting 45-55fps for a majority of the game and forza/gt ran 60fps withvsome occasional drops.

Very nice, I still own the PS3 version for sentimental value but I will be picking this up for my PC. I will try to play this on my triple monitor setup and see how that will fare. Otherwise I may need to settle with one monitor. One thing to note that everyone in this comment section forgot is reshade. You can potentially make this game look amazing with right profile. I've done it with bayonetta recently.

i know you guys have the state of the art equipment to play with, but i don't know one person who owns a 4k display presently. it's not the "norm" yet. i think you would do well concentrating/commenting more on 1440p resolution since your's and other channels have this affinity for 4k resolution. only a small percentage of us have money wreaking from our orifices. therefore, only a few of us have 4k resolution. don't get me wrong. this channel is one of my favorites, but i think the push to 4k is a bit premature presently. ty for the content.
