Does the lid open?? You didn’t show the function of it at end of video

It does open, but it doesn’t stay up. You basically buy this for the looks of it.

I purchased the kit, and it does look good, however functionality wise it’s crap. Once you get to use it, you understand how cheap it actually is. Latch system is crap, and the flap won’t stay up, once opened. You basically need both hands to operate it. The space inside is very limited, but that’s part of a VW design flaw. One more thing, the kit is waaay overpriced for what it is.
