ya know what i missed fireworks (even though as i write this i can hear our neighbors shoot theirs). but seeing this video made my day, i remember your old rendition of this same mission using much of the same music. and that video inspired me to make one of my own. i did it to celebrate the giants on whose shoulders i stood on to get through my undergrad degree several years back and now on the heels of that memory i am working on a new idea. i cannot commend you enough fr how much of a light your videos were and are to me, this was the best of the best, at least to me anyway.

Agreed, I've had more trouble in 1.12 than ever before. I can't even fast forward when focused on a craft. The game keeps trying to lock up.

Because you used the Apollo 13 soundtrack for the launch, when it took off I thought the swing arms would come out one by one like in the film. But no, you did it accurately and pulled them all back at once. My only little criticism is that you didn't jet the escape tower after SII ignition, you waited until SIVB ignition and separation. Otherwise it was a perfect flight. Could really appreciate all the small details you put in, the lander accuracy, the high gain antenna and service module coupling to the command module. Can see you really put your heart into this.

The amount of lag you must have had trying to launch this must have been agonising and that's saying something because I play on console (PS4 slim to be specific) and can barely launch 100 parts. Great job. (edit) when I created my Saturn V recreation I used the old skin for the terrier engine because it had the gold and the pipes.

2:39 Mmm: that sequential gangplank swivel-away, though. The liftoff rotating camera was nice, too. Did the Jr Docking Port get reskinned in 1.12? Yay, flags don't immediately fall over anymore. Were those yellow work lights on tripods something you made yourself or are they a new part? What is that dark gray top cone on the 3-seater capsule? Is that an extra part or did the capsule get reskinned? ...You know what, I should just download 1.12. Even though I'll never play it, it would be nice to know what they changed.
