Dude blew out his voice and couldn’t tour anymore, probably cited “creative differences”. Which is probably true because In Darkness sucked lol

Same, sucks their original vocalist left I actually thought the last album he’s on was awesome and they found more of their sound along with the familiar gnarly raw heavy down tuned riffage that is sic ha, BUT new vocalist held his own with new album, and doesn’t sound bad at all. Think he fits with them. 🤘

Two sides to every story lol. Travis says he left the band because they launched a BLM t-shirt for charity, but they casually use the hard R normally. He couldn't stick around for that.
@dylandistance2 жыл бұрын
I feel like this is not quite true as Travis had already exited the band before the Shirt announcement. Travis tweeted a reply to Varials implying that the other members would engage in racial/ableist slurs towards minorities and affected demographics. My opinion is that Travis was trying to save face but the blatant intolerance and hypocrisy that was yet to be spoken about due to privatization of conversations. I was a fan of Varials but the lack of an actual statement was enough for me to not listen to their music or support them until one is made. It's very sad that they choose not to respond given their platform.

@@kingdick8390 I dont really blame them for not saying much about the Travis thing. Whatever conflict that went on between them behind the scenes isnt really our business, and as fans I would argue it would be better if we didnt speculate around that.

It wasn't because of the shirt but yes it was the N word thing. I remember when he quit everyone was messaging each other that day talking about how he quit because members of Varials had said the N word.
