Great video as usual. I have my Monstera Deliciosa on a moss pole for a bit over a month and it’s shooting aerial roots all over the place already. It’s crazy how moss poles help assist plants in growing. I have encouraged some of the aerial roots to grow back into the moss pole instead of them just shooting out from the back.

Thanks for sharing your personal plant keeping perspective once again, on a popular variety. I’d love to see a video about how you approach wet stick propagation if you have the interest. Curious how you did this one! Thx.💚

last year a friend gave me a wet stick of her albo for free. it was unrooted and had a very narrow stem. I didn't have much hope but she decided to survive. right now she's on a moss pole and unfurled her second fenestrated leaf last week. she's so easy going and lovely. never had pest issues, not a single spot or browning or yellowing on her leaves, never reverted to green and gets along well with everything(for example very very low humidity in my house, being right behind a south facing window and not receiving any fertilizer until recently). the only thing that bothers me is that she has just a little of marble varigation on her leaves. very similar to yours but a bit less varigated. half of her stem is white so every time she produces a leaf, I hope it will be more varigated but each time it's less white and more green. I love her because she's an absolute angel but I'm still dreaming of having a gorgeous highly varigated monstera 😢

You might be able to being out more variegation by cutting it, hoping for the new growth to be more variegated :)

If you have a look at you stems, try to find a growth point on one of the nodes that is on the white part of the stem. Because the growth point is on the white part of the stem the growth will be more white.

Thank you for sharing all this information, love your videos 😊 I've been wanting one since forever. The first cutting I bought was send to me with a severe root rot that already affected the stem, it didn't make it. Picked up my second one a month ago which has a very healthy root system and comes from a very involved plant dad. Stumbled upon your videos because I noticed it grew a lot slower than my regular monstera and was wondering if I did something wrong but I guess she's just a little tricky and slower than her unvarigated brother.

do you feel like you could have been more successful with the air layering had you used an aroid mix rather than sphagnum moss/water? Just thinking that I know how fussy they are so the change in medium/moisture level with a different substrate could maybe have led to them failing? I’ve not tried that yet (i’m too scared to propagate mine!😂) so i’m not sure 😅
