Good comprehensive overlook of the watch. Love that enamel dial but agree with you on some of the faults. Cool period piece though for that super vintage look!

I don’t think I’ve ever commented about a youtuber’s audio quality but man, yours is amazing!

This isn’t my style of watch but I can absolutely appreciate it! I love those stained glass style hands and wire lugs. It’s the bundt strap that I usually see that makes me shy from it. I know it’s era accurate…but so was children smoking lol

Nice looking watch, the case looks very similiar to the Maurice Lacroix master series. Would look good on a perlon. Great review.

The strap choices kind of go against the display caseback. Otherwise, a very well made watch for the money. Would definitely look at this!

I have one on order, should get it in August, with the watch being 37mm I think the bund strap makes the watch wear a little bit bigger and it does really suit the vintage style... thanks for the review...stay safe

It's nice, and an excellent review as always. I'm lucky to have had an original trench watch from my great grandfather who was at Dunkirk and when I was leaving home to go abroad donated it to a local military museum. I felt it needed a controlled environment to keep the movement working. I like the welded on lugs look, but I think they got it all wrong with the crown, ideally it will be at the top underneath the 12 lug (they were adapted pocketwatches at the beginning of the war) or they could have put it at the 3 where some of the later watches up to 1918 had it. Putting it at the 4 destroys the authentic look. A no date NH38 with the crown at 3 would have been ideal. Except for the dial and lugs, this isn't really a good homage to the trench watch. They were going great but dropped the ball on the crown position.

Wow, not that is a story worth reading. Its an awesome experience to have that watch in your possession and then pass it over to a museum. Thank you for sharing. I agree with your point as its coming from an enthusiastic point of view, they have made the crown like a pusher however the position is off. Having said that, its a good little vintage nod to WW1 editons. Thanks for sharing my friend 👍🏼

Beautiful watch, but why the stem is at 4 o'clock?????
@iamfuckingyourwaifuandther27434 ай бұрын
because it's cool and vintage. It's probably because the pocket watches had to be turned like that to put the straps on, but it would usually be on the 12 o'clock; however, they were probably going for a vintage but modern day look, so they put it at the 4 o'clock and kept the 12 from being offset. Apparently soldiers also used to wear it on the bottom of the wrist, so when it's worn like that having the 12 o'clock slanted made it easier to read their watch while holding their guns. Having it offset like that is also nice because it keeps the watch a consistent length on both sides and prevents it from sticking out and poking into your wrist.
