A new tram with a sensible seating layout! unlike the awful new Manchester trams with seats facing in all directions!

The Variotrams will be used on all routes. Therapia Lane - Elmers End (route 4) won't start until all Variotrams are delivered and the drivers have been trained on them.

2555 is in service but still only going to East Croydon

Someone did comment on another video saying that 2555 has entered service. Do you know if they're now running through or still reversing at East Croydon? All the tram websites have just been posting news from Blackpool and Beamish recently.

I don't really know the seating layout on the M5000s as I've never been to Manchester, but I'm assuming they're similar to Croydon's CR4000s as both are based on types of Flexity Swift used in Koln. If that's the case then I agree, however I think the Flexity Swifts have a better door layout.
