Majkl shows us in this video how to make the French Kouglof. The dough is very rich and tasty. Eating a Kouglof is a tradition in Majkl's home, specially on Easter and on Christmas.
Ingredients for 2.5 liter Kouglof:
300 ml milk
210 g butter
2 medium eggs
660 g all-purpose flour
100 g sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
20 g of active yeast
150 g of raisons soaked in Kirsch liqueur (or in rum)
whole almonds for decoration
4 tablespoons of powdered sugar for final cover
