I know it is not common knowledge and should not bother me. But as an Astronomer, it just pained me to hear them compare the blackhole image to JWST images because the blackhole was a mm wavelength image and JWST is a visible/IR wavelength camera. The two are COMPLETELY different ball games to even be compared. The blackhole image was a more tricky endeavour in some ways, not disregarding that JWST is a beautiful, advanced telescope.
