I swear Aamir Khan has played a college student in a movie when my mom was in high school (QSQT, 1988) played a high school kid when she was in College (JJWS, 1992) played a college pass out when I was 3 years old (Dil Chahta Hai, 2001) , again a college student when I was 8 (Rang De Basanti, 2006) and a college student again when I was 11 (3 Idiots). Today I have finished college and I have been working for a little over a year now if he releases another movie where he plays a college student it would be so fucking hilarious.

1:08:00 If Salman gets a role as college student ...Hilarious Varun.You nailed it
@TheStardust20113 жыл бұрын
In one of the interviews, Javed Akhtar had mentioned how the hero of hindi film transitioned from - a poor "man" trying to make ends meet. - to a "man' who turns dacoit or rebels against the systematic injustice. - to a young adult who fights the corruption or finds a shortcut (usually illegal) to get richer in 70s. - to a young adult who career is stable and not explored much but his romance and marriage is..in 80s. - to college boys who have fun with friends, pursues the girl n family in 90s. - to urban/NRI heroes in 2000s. The reason bring the majority of audiences wanted to see a relatable hero on screen. Before 70s, going to theatre wasn't a common college crowd things. Working men who earned were the majority and hence their kind of heroes. Towards 90s, the college kids were privileged enough to go to theatres and stories started revolving around college love stories. With IT boom, aboard education, exposure to international TV/cinema; urban and NRI Content started getting popular. Today's hero and content are basically a reflection of today's society as a whole.
