First game with a bunch of the chaps after a bit of silly season hiatus. And as good an excuse as any.

Nice to see the warships on the table again! The game looked much closer than some other recent ones, the dice were definitely in Chris' favour! Do you throw all your battleship and cruiser aircraft into scouting, it would help along with having radar equipped destroyers and cruisers into reserve.

Cheers. Yeah, I chuck all the planes into the recce… and the cruisers in this game. But I kept the destroyers in table to run smoke. Those long range Italian guns are lethal and the tribal class destroyers didn’t have radar (I think. It was a bit of a rushed set up). That said I totally stuffed up my formation, leading to the good copping more fire than it otherwise might have. Emilio’s dice made the game a lot less even than it might have been.
