That is why when I build my motorized bike I will cut off the bottom bar and weld some metal pipe around the motor to create a motor housing and structure for the new motorized bike. :)

He’s a very talented little dude, but he took 50% of the frame support off a cheap Walmart bike and added weight. It really needs top tube support! Other than that, it’s super impressive! Great job!! Wear a helmet man! My buddy welded 2 18 speeds together and threw a 3.5 Briggs motor (could still shift gears) on it and wrecked.. super fun but not safe

reduce the size of the output pipe on the the end of the exhaust pipe with a spacer it’ll sound better and run better because of the back pressure

With my engine I drilled and tapped a grease fitting onto the casing so i could pack it properly full with grease, works really well 7:48

@@AeroPrixma definitely is possible, maybe not on the bmx bike but you can fit a 212cc 4 stroke on a mountain bike, there is videos all over KZbin of people doing that exact build

Did some calculations for u. With your 44 tooth sproket and your 20" wheel you will get 27.045mph on 8,000 RPM. If you used a 26" wheel you would increase that to 35.159 MPH @ 8000 RPM. if you switched to a 32 tooth sproket on your 20" wheel you would go from 27.045 MPH to 37.187 MPH @ 8,000 RPM. I have a video on how to easily calculate this on my channel using a calculator. Also, I used to hate coaster brake wheels until I realized if u take off the dust cap it fits perfectly, just sand down the dust cap after if u really care to put it back on.

Did you take into account the clutch ratio and 11t front sprocket? You seem to have it down. Could you help me with What sprocket I need for a 12.5 inch wheel on the scooter to achieve 45-55mph? What about a 10 inch wheel? Rpms will be between 10,500- 13,500

i dont know why every body makes the same error, never cut the upper tube you have to make roo for the engine cutting the lower tube at the bottom bracket and bending ir closer to the front tire then welding another piece from the bracket to the down tube,,, this will give you a more rigid frame and a lower center of gravity

This should have been done on a larger bike and using a jack shaft if you wanted more speed and using a free wheel where the crank is to allow pedal assist and full use of the gears.

Hey man I have a ton of dirt bike parts, almost everything except the engine and frame. The entire fork assembly with bars, both levers and perches, all the cables, front and rear rims and tires, gas tank, seat, etc. Its all in really good shape for the age and I would send it to your po box if you are interested. It's taking up space in my garage and maybe someone else could build a cool machine from it

I love this project 100% but i can help with some stuff like it sounds like it's running too rich needs a smaller jet like a .63 or so and the needle needs lowered in the carburetor the brass slide needle has a c-clip that needs to go up a couple notches and it will have better torque and acceleration and about 5mph-10mph higher top speed it sounded like it was 4-stroking up top so do as i recommended and also you can cut the rear spacer for the engine mount and it will lower the engine about an inch and help the the clearance issues and keep the sprocket thats on it I cut my rear spacer on my bike you can check my video on it , trust my words i know a lot of shit about these engines and setting them up perfectly. Also 32:1 ratio on the fuel then after about 3-5 hours of run time or around 50 miles run 40:1 fuel ratio and you will have to rejet for the extra fuel it will get with the thinner ratio to a smaller jet if you read all of this i hope you take it seriously and fallow through.

baldy, Thanks for the advice!! I had no idea you could cut the mounts lol. I will do that so my engine sits lower. And it did sound like it was 4 stroking to me. But with my expansion chamber restriction I feel like it running perfect now. Who knows. I do have a jet kit and will try a #63 jet

It's called miss firing due to it running lean or bad spark not 4 stroking

A 2 stroke forces it's file air mixture into the combustion chamber . it doesn't suck the file into the CB chamber like a 4 stroke

Adjust your low side jet. Screw all the way in and back out 1.5 turns. Should be running on this. Adjusted. 5 turns out until responses satisfactory. the idle screw out to. I don't know what motor u have but this might be one in the same.

I have an old 20 inch bmx I could use it for my build but I want something bigger maybe a 24 inch. Some people use the 29 inch bikes. Got some of my parts in today, that 48mm cylinder and crank.

Vasily Custom Builds ya I'm excited I plan on taking apart the engine and replacing all the bolts with good quality allen heads and using Japanese bearings. My piston is 47.799 mm So it is a 48mm I measured it at work. It has a window in the intake side. The ports on the cylinder could have been smoothed out better but I'll probably do that.

find wheels with disk brakes and with enough material for caliper so that you can put a disk-brake mounted sprocket on there. For a lot of bikes its hard to find disk hubs but for BMX bikes its EZ.

turn back wheel round and remove pedals/crank, then rear cog set ups are not to good how they fit to spokes,, cross bar would add rigidity to the bike, but great work, have fun engineering, its the best fun..
